Dr Cuong Luu
MBBS (QLD), FRACGP
Hours: Monday to Friday 8am-5:30pm, Saturday 8am-1pm
Since graduating in 1999 from the University of Queensland, Dr Cuong Luu has worked in a wide range of medical settings and locations including:
- 2000 to 2001 - Ipswich Hospital
- 2002 - Royal Brisbane Hospital
- 2003 to 2004 - Toowoomba General Hospital
In 2005, Dr Cuong Luu pursued further studies in general practice and obtained Fellowship of The Royal Australian College of General Practice (FRACGP) in January 2007.
He has a special interest in:
- Minor surgery
- Skin cancer checks/treatment
- Children’s health
- Women’s health
- Work cover
- All aspects of general practice
Dr Pushpa Kahawita
MBBS, FRACGP, DRANZCOG
Hours: Monday to Friday 9am-6pm, rotation on Saturdays
Dr Pushpa Kahawita has many years of postgraduate experience in medicine, including hospital experience in emergency medicine, obstetrics and gynaecology, paediatrics, psychiatry, geriatrics, general medicine and surgery.
She is an experienced GP and has practised in Forest Lake over the past 20 years and at our clinic for over 10 years.
Dr Pushpa Kahawita is interested in all aspects of general practice, especially the following:
- Women’s health, including antenatal shared care
- Children’s and adolescent health
- Aged health
- Mental health
